and there went my reading initiative!
thanks to some snazzy software, i've rediscovered my DS.

the "games" i play include a couple of study-ware for Kanji, a Dictionary, a Japanese NewYear's poem-game (100nin1shu) memorization aide/game, a calligraphy game, some tetris-type games, games based on cartoons (which i'm　too embarrassed to actually mention), and 2 cookbooks.

complete nerdness.

i am angry that PuyoPuyo doesn't look like what it did anymore 15yrs ago.

i am really impressed with the stylus-use-heavy games. some of them utilize it in a rather unique way. other games, meh, i'd rather use my thumbs. but the games that involve actual drawing/writing, wow.

i just wasted (wasted? yah no that was a stupid game, yah wasted) an hr&half of life not cleaning/getting lunch ready for tomorrow.


on the unplugged side, i taught myself to knit super-skinny scarves on my hand this morning.
for real knitting, i'm going to have to YouTube that.
all i really want to make is scarves.

what i really want is s/thing productive/creative for my hands to do while my brain shuts down.
